Ross Henry is a Portland, Oregon native. Lucky for him, Oregon is a land rich in outdoor recreation and has allowed him to spend the last decade chasing the RAIN (white water kayaking), WIND (kiteboarding) and SNOW (snowboarding) all in his own back yard. Between times spent recreating, Ross has worked many random jobs a raft guide, a kayak instructor, a kiteboard instructor, a receptionist at a hair salon, a desk job in corporate America. Recently, he's turned over a new leaf and is pursuing a career in modeling.
Ross landed his first modeling job at the age of 29. It was at the urging of his wonderful grandmother that Ross was motivated to pursue modeling work, and capitalize on his natural red hair. His foray into the industry started with modeling gigs being wedged into working a full time desk job in corporate America. As modeling work began to pile up and conflict with his desk job he made the jump to pursue modeling full time. What has allowed Ross to succeed in a highly competitive market is his understanding of the business, his desire to give 100% in whatever he does, and his ability to strike a friendship with most anyone on set. And the red hair helps too!
In modeling Ross has realized his dream job. He's found it requires him to travel to exotic set locations, to work with interesting people while doing exciting work, and provides ample free time to get his fix doing the sports he loves.
